FORMER Spandau Ballet and Eastenders star Martin Kemp and Harry Potter actor and Fast Show star Mark Williams were at Upton House this week to film scenes for BBC One period drama Father Brown.

The cast took over the National Trust property near Oxhill on Thursday, one of many locations in this area where the cameras have been rolling as work continues on the fifth series.

They made their mark on Blockley earlier this month when they covered the churchyard there in snow and will be filming in Ilmington in the coming days.

Previous series have also been filmed in this area.

A date for the series to be aired has not yet been publicised, but it will include a Christmas special.

See Thursday's Stratford-upon-Avon Herald for interviews with Martin and Mark.
