Pilot walks away after light aircraft crash




THE pilot of a light aircraft escaped with just minor injuries after his plane crash-landed and flipped over in a field in Compton Verney today, Sunday.

Two fire engines from Stratford and Alcester were sent to the scene, use off the Fosseway, after reports that an aircraft had come down in a field at 2.34pm.

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Fire Control said: “Once in attendance it was discovered that the light aircraft had come down but the pilot was uninjured. Ambulance and Police also attended.”
