Romeo and Juliet grown older in A Tender Thing, at Chipping Norton
Romeo and Juliet has been reimagined depicting the lovestruck couple at the end of their lives in A Tender Thing, currently on at The Theatre, Chipping Norton, until Saturday.
This two hander production, written by Ben Power and directed by John Terry, has an exceptional, high-profile cast, featuring Patrick Driver as Romeo and Suzanna Hamilton as Juliet. Patrick is a regular at The Globe Theatre staring in Measure for Measure, The Heresy of Love, As You Like It, Julius Caesar & The Taming of The Shrew. Driver also starred in the award winning The Curious Incident of The Dog in the Night-time at the Apollo Theatre in the west end and is no stranger to your TV screens, appearing in Call the Midwife, EastEnders and Silent Witness. Suzanna came to fame in the film Swallows and Amazons when just a child, before going on to star opposite John Hurt in 1984 and alongside Meryl Streep in Out of Africa. These days she is a familiar face on your TV screen, with performances in Jonathan Creek, Casualty, Silent Witness and New Tricks.
