Pool to be filled in as NFU HQ gets revamp

THERE are some significant changes taking place at the NFU headquarters in Tiddington, Stratford-upon-Avon, which the company says are designed to help the business meet its future staffing and commercial targets.

Alterations to the front entrance to the insurer’s huge office building is continuing while there are plans to fill in the swimming pool that has been used by staff for many years to create meeting rooms.

NFU Mutual is based on a 25-acre site in Tiddington Road, with the office building itself accounting for 120,000sq ft of offices.

A spokesman said: “The head office building now accommodates around 900 staff — almost double the number it was originally built for — and a series of upgrades will include the replacement of much of the mechanical and electrical infrastructure, and transforming the swimming pool into meeting rooms and breakout spaces to help the building to continue to suit modern business needs.”
