Warwickshire butcher brothers celebrate 10 years of business success

BROTHERS Nick and Jon Francis are marking their 10th year in business after setting up their own farm to raise high quality meat.

Paddock Farm Butchery, in Lower Brailes, has built up a glowing reputation amongst top restaurants as well as south Warwickshire since opening in March 2015.

The butchery business was created to provide a market for their livestock, alongside quality meats from other local farms.

“We’re so grateful to our loyal customers and the local community that has supported us over the years. This milestone is just as much about celebrating the relationships we’ve built as it is about our farming system and the quality meats we offer,” said Nick.

“From the beginning of our farming journey, our mission has always been to produce the ultimate meat, without compromise. It all started with two Tamworth pigs at the bottom of our parents’ garden but the farm has now grown to be home to the largest herd of Tamworth pigs in the country as well as including beef cattle and laying chickens.”

He added: “When we first started out farming, we could see that the only way to make our vision a reality would be to take our products direct to end users. In the early days we supplied only chefs as we didn’t have a retail presence – targeting Michelin-starred restaurants all around the country. And then we had the opportunity to take on this butchers shop in our local village, it was a game-changer.”

The brothers plan to continue growing their customer base.
