Appeal for witnesses in racially aggravated assault in Stratford




POLICE have launched an appeal for witnesses following a racially aggravated assault at the Maybird Centre in Stratford over the weekend.

Warwickshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information following a racially aggravated common assault in Stratford on Saturday morning 21st July.

The suspect is described as a woman in her 80s, who had white hair and wore a pink top and light-coloured trousers.

The incident occurred between 9.45am and 10.45am when a woman in her forties was assaulted by the cashpoint outside Boots at the Maybird Centre.

No weapons were used and the victim did not require hospital treatment.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone with any information on the incident, including a man who is believed to have witnessed it.
