Aston Martin dream comes true for Ben
ASTON Martin has made a teenager’s dream come true with a VIP visit to its HQ in Gaydon, Warwickshire.
Ben Baddeley, aged 13, has cerebral palsy and was guest of honour at the luxury car maker’s multi million pound car plant during a recent visit.
“Aston Martin deserve a huge thank you for what they did for my disabled son last weekend,” Ben’s mum, Amy, said. “He was shown a brand new Aston Martin due for release in November, sat in the red bull car driven by Max Verstappen and was taken on a drive in a DB11.
He left with a big goody bag of Aston Martin merchandise, a mini Aston Martin scalextric set and an open invitation to go back to visit and show them his progress.”
Ben’s treatment is no longer funded by the NHS due to cuts leaving his parents with private medical bills of about £2,000 each month. They are in the process of fundraising to help with Ben’s daily care.
Aston Martin heard of Ben’s condition and opened its Gaydon doors to a day dream he will never forget.
