DETECTIVES investigating a robbery in Stratford-upon-Avon on Saturday, 8th April have released CCTV as they continue to appeal for information. A man in his 40s was walking along Alcester Road when he is reported to have been assaulted near the entrance of Briar Croft Care Home, opposite Rother House Medical Centre, around 1.50am.

The victim suffered a fractured jaw and had his mobile phone taken during the incident and police would like to talk to the two men pictured in the area at the time.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or saw anybody behaving suspiciously in Alcester Road at the time is asked to call Warwickshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting incident number 168 of 8 April
