Dancing sheep and diggers at Moreton Show
DANCING diggers and dancing sheep will show off their moves tomorrow, Saturday, at the annual Moreton-in-Marsh Show.
The show is one of the biggest and most popular one-day agricultural and livestock shows in the country.
And back this year are the JCB Dancing Diggers who will be performing throughout the day in the grand arena.
The dancing continues at the sheep show which will follow an educational presentation about the animals.
Vintage tractors will be on display and an array of combine harvesters on sale in some of the 350 trade stands at the show.
The showground, on the Batsford Estate in Moreton in Marsh, will be a celebration of the very best in farming, food and includes horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry.
Inside the home and garden tent locally grown produce such as flowers and vegetables will be judged and prizes handed out to the lucky winners.
There’s also a craft marquee and plenty of children’s activities for families to enjoy.
At 4pm the grand parade of winners takes place which is a chance to see an impressive line-up of the day’s livestock winners.
Showground gates open at 8.30am and the one-day annual show runs until 6pm.
