Drug warrant executed at Stratford house
POLICE officers in Stratford-upon-Avon have today (7th September 2017) executed a warrant at a property on Childs Close.
The warrant was carried out following concerns raised by community members about the use and supply of drugs in the area.
Items of drug paraphernalia and mobile phones were seized at the house and these will be examined by officers.
A 22-year-old man from Stratford-upon-Avon was arrested at the property on suspicion of assault following a separate incident on Childs Close on 30th August.
Sergeant Simon Ryan from the Stratford-upon-Avon Safer Neighbourhood Team said: “Information from the public helps us to build up a picture of the issues affecting our communities and target those responsible.
“We take seriously every single piece of information that the public gives us. While we can’t always respond directly to every report, the information our communities provide helps us to target individuals and specific problems, and to shape our wider policing plans.
“We will be continuing police activity in and around Stratford and I’d encourage anyone with concerns to let us know.”
