Fireworks and fun at Bonfire parties across the district




THE night sky is about to light up with dazzling firework displays across Stratford district.Here's a round-up of some of the Bonfire parties due to take place this weekend.

Kineton Primary Bonfire Night

Where: Kineton Primary School

When: 3rd November at 5:30pm

Come to Kineton Primary Bonfire Night to warm by the great bonfire, to enjoy hot dogs and burgers as well as seeing your home-made Guy set upon the blazing fire. For tickets see Kineton Primary School main office.

Bidford’s Big Bonfire

Where: The Meadow, Bidford

When: 3 November from 6:00pm to 10:00pm

Hosted by Bidford on Avon Chamber of Commerce and Trade, come to the Big Meadow to witness the dramatic aerial display, alongside a large bonfire warming the souls of the town folk. The bonfire will be lit at 7:00pm with the firework display at 7:15pm. For entry pay at the gate.

Warwick Town Bonfire

Where: Warwick Racecourse

When: 3 November from 4:30pm

The Warwick Town Bonfire will return to Warwick Racecourse with fantastic pyrotechnic displays to celebrate Guy Fawkes Night. There will be a small firework display at 6:00pm followed by the main display at around 6:30pm.For tickets seewww.warwicktownbonfire.org.uk or at many local Warwick shops.

Welford-on-Avon Charity Bonfire Night

Where: The Four Alls pub, Welford-on-Avon

When: 3 November, kids activities from 3pm, bonfire lighting at 5pm and firework display at 6:30pm

Complimentary welcome mulled prosecco, mulled apple juice and popcorn will be available with live Music and Special Bonfire Night Food & Drink menus for all ages. The bonfire will be lit at 5:00pm with the firework display at 6:30pm. For information see www.thefourallswelfordonavon.co.uk

Alcester RFC Bonfire and Firework Display

Where: Alcester Rugby Football Club

When: 2 November from 6:30pm

Come to the Alcester Rugby Club for amusements, bar, stalls and barbeque. Stand by the warming bonfire and witness the creative Alcester firework display. The bonfirewill be lit at 7:30 with the firework display at 8:00pm.

The Bell’s Bonfire & Fireworks Spectacular

Where: The Bell, Alderminster

When: 2 November from 6pm

The Bell's annual Bonfire and Fireworks Spectacular returns with barbeque food, a bar and music. Later in the evening at 7:15pm, the bonfire will be lit with the firework display beginning at 7:45pm. Entry for this event is free.

St Peters School Bonfire and Fireworks

Where: St Peters Primary School, Barford

When: 10 November from 5:15pm

Visit the primary school for bonfire and fireworks along with hot food and drinks for comfort and warmth. Tickets can be bought from the village shop.

Warwick Sea Scouts Bonfire and Fireworks

Where: Hatton Scout Camp

When: 3 November from 5:30 pm

The Warwick Sea Scouts Bonfire returns for the second year with a traditional familybonfire night with pig roast, hot dogs, hot punch, marshmallows, toffee apples, cake, snacks and a licensed bar. The firework display will begin at 7:30pm.

Brailes Bonfire Spectacular

Where: The Sportsfield, Upper Brailes

When: 10 November from 5pm

Come along to The Sportsfield for the special night with the blazing bonfire and overhead firework displays. Make sure you wrap up warm and bring along the whole family.

Masons Arms Firework Night

Where: TheMason Arms, Long Marston

When: 2 November from 6:30pm

Visit the pub venue for a fun-filled night warmed with the popular barbeque and topped with local live music from Soul Remedy. Entry is free for this event.

Tudor Twist Bonfire Night

Where: Anne Hathaway’s Cottage

When: 3 November from 5:30pm to 8:00pm

Sit round the campfire at Anne Hathaway's Cottage and listen to the Yarnsmith of Norwich telling Tudor tales. New for this year - enjoy a spectacular fire breathing show. For tickets see www.shakespeare.org.uk

Stratford Rugby Club Bonfire and Fireworks

Where: Stratford Rugby Club

When: 4 November from 5pm

There will be a barbecue, sweets, mulled wine, games and other stalls, alongside the huge bonfire and the firework display to music.

Loxley Village Bonfire

Where: Land behind Loxley Hall

When: 3 November from 5:30pm

Come to the Loxley bonfire and fireworks night this year with all proceeds and donations going to Loxley C of E school. Food, drink and refreshments will be available on site. Entry is free for this event.
