TEA lovers from Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick are being asked to put the kettle on and brew up some cash for Marie Curie this month.

The charity’s Blooming Great Tea Party, from 23rd to 25th June, encourages people to get together with friends, family or colleagues to host a tea party, hold a bake sale, or special tea break to raise funds.

The money raised will help Marie Curie provide care and support for people living with a terminal illness, and their families.

Nina Baker, community fundraiser, said: “The money raised will enable Marie Curie to continue to care for terminally ill people in the area.”

Last year, the Blooming Great Tea Party raised over £500,000 nationally.
