IN this election you have an important choice. We have all seen the polls which show Sir Keir Starmer is likely to be handed the keys to No. 10 with an unparalleled majority.

If the polls are correct, then the question you need to ask yourself is do you think we, as a nation, should have a strong opposition? If you believe the answer is yes, then I need your support to stand up for Stratford-on-Avon constituency in the next parliament.

I have seen first-hand the dangers of a weak opposition offering no new ideas or challenge. I have witnessed cozy arrangements between parties on the left, and the deals they make, and know that only one party in Westminster is capable of, or interested in, taking the fight to Sir Keir; a potential prime minister who managed just 87 words for rural communities and who has dodged every question on tax raises for working people and pensioners. He must be held to account.

I am proud of my record of over 12 years of speaking truth to power, be that on my side or to other parties, and I can honestly say I have and will always put the interests of my constituents ahead of my party’s or my own. Having spoken to so many of you on the doorstep I know how important it is to listen to what people want and not simply to tell them what they should care about.

You matter. Your voice matters. Make it count. Vote Conservative on 4th July.
