General election pitch: Why Stratford should vote for… NONPOL’S Neil O’Neil
Neil O’Neil
NONPOL
WE may be a small party but we can answer the big questions, as shown at the Herald hustings, I provided direct answers and solutions and not rhetoric babble or merely stating the obvious.
Even though I was unfairly limited to 15 and 30 second responses, I believe I was the only party that gave real solutions. I have had some very positive responses from the night, even being picked out the following evening at a concert at the Symphony Hall.
Most people in Stratford will have now received my manifesto through their door and see how I touch on all the difficult questions most politicians skate around. You will also see from the website at nonpol.com/stratford that I have come up with 12 original ways to pay for everything, without raising any personal taxes. Look at them now before the other parties steal them.
I liked every candidate at the hustings from a personal perspective, and I believe they would all work very well at the local level, as some already have. But I can’t see any of them having the gravitas or presence to be heard above the din in the House of Commons. I believe most of them would be eaten for lunch. Whereas I am indigestible and not controlled by any party or agenda.
I know most of you think I have no chance but consider this, realistically there are about 50,000 votes being fought for between red, blue, gold and turquoise and I think it is running close, so effectively around 13,000 could win the seat. Throw in NONPOL and with my 51,300 door-to-door manifesto impact, there are now five in the race, meaning it could be as low as 10,000 wining the seat.
Can NONPOL get 10,000... well, my friends, that is up to you.
