Prepare for takeoff at model aircraft show
OVER 100 large static radio controlled model aircraft will go on display at the ‘Large Model Aircraft Show at the British Motor Museum on Sunday 29th October.
Organised by The Large Model Association, this annual family event offers visitors the chance to see the models up close and personal without the restriction of the flight line fencing at public shows and also a chance to speak to builders and pilots about their projects.
Tom Caren, show manager at the British Motor Museum said: “This is a great family show where you can spend the day looking at the extensive collection of cars in the museum, the huge range of models in the static display and start that winter airplane project you have been dreaming about all summer.”
Visitors can also attend three specialists workshops on topics which cover Jet Airframes and Installations, Model Aircraft Designs and Improving the standard of Scale Aircraft. The cinema will show footage of the planes flying during the show season.
