Sparkle and Shine for hospital campaign

A MAJOR event to raise money for Warwick Hospital’s Birth and Babies Appeal will take place at Ettington Chase Hotel.

The Sparkle and Shine Ball will take place on Friday, 28th September, with money collected going towards the cost of extra equipment at the new £1.6million midwife-led birthing centre.

It is one of a number of events being organised by local mums Lucy Field and Nicki Scott, who are hoping to match the £100,000 they recently handed over to the hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit.

The build costs are coming out of the trust’s own budget, but the appeal is aiming to raise an additional £200,000.

The appeal total currently stands at around £55,000. Tickets include a three-course meal, fizz on arrival and a host of entertainment and cost £50 per person or £475 for a table of ten.
