THE Stratford Town Centre Food Festival returns this weekend for two days of tasty temptations to tuck into on the streets of the town.

Organised by Stratforward Business Improvement District (BID), the festival’s, popular Taste and Ale Trails featuring Stratford’s food and drink businesses and other culinary delights makes this weekend one of the tastiest in the town’s entertainment calendar.

Ruth Wood, events manager at Stratforward, said: “The festival is all about getting as many of our town centre businesses involved and showing visitors what’s right here in Stratford so they’ll come back time and time again.”

The festival will be held on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd September and Stratford will once again be showcased as a great food and leisure destination with tens of thousands of extra visitors expected to attend.

Many BID members are participating in the Taste and Ale trails. There are local chef demonstrations, hands on cookery classes, and market stalls in lower Henley Street, Meer Street, Bridge Street, Wood Street, High St and Waterside (Saturday only).

Road closures will create space for the festival market stalls, and ensure the festival is safe for the public to attend and for staff. The following closures are in place:

Bridge Street, Wood Street, High Street, lower Henley Street and Meer St: closed 7pm on Friday until Sunday midnight.

Waterside: closed from the corner of Bridge Street to Sheep Street, from 7pm Friday until Saturday midnight.

Staff parking - Staff who need off road parking within the road closure area, should email us in advance at events@stratforward.co.uk and then show a staff pass or this letter to the road marshal.

Deliveries - All deliveries and access requests during the road closures need to be booked in advance. Email details to events@stratforward.co.uk For urgent access issues, please

speak to Cotswold Market, Stratforward or visible security staff on the day.
