Win tickets to RSC live podcast and Merry Wives of Windsor

THE Herald has teamed up with the Royal Shakespeare Company to give readers the opportunity to attend a live recording in its current series of podcasts, Much Ado About Shakespeare, which explore our undying fascination with the greatest playwright in the world.

Ahead of the Shakespeare Birthday Weekend, on Thursday, between 6-7pm at The Other Place, The Telegraph’s Arts Editor, Ben Lawrence will chair the discussion, Shakespeare: 21st Century Playwright. The panel will include RSC Artistic Director Gregory Doran, Tracy Chevalier (author of New Boy, a retelling of Othello set in an American school in the 1970s), and Iqbal Khan, director of the RSC’s recent production of Antony and Cleopatra.

Tickets for the live recording are £8, and are available on 01789 403493 or via the RSC website, rsc.org.uk

But we have a pair of tickets up for grabs for seven lucky readers. And, if that wasn’t enough, the first two people whose names are drawn, will also win a pair of tickets to see the RSC’s forthcoming production of The Merry Wives of Windsor at 1.15pm on Saturday, 11th August.

Featuring RSC Associate Artist David Troughton as Falstaff, this popular comedy runs in the Royal Shakespeare Theatre from 4th August to 22nd September. For details on how to enter pick up a copy of this week's Herald.
