Woman taken to hospital following A46 collision

A woman in her 40s was taken to hospital following a road traffic collision on the A46 this morning.

The incident, near Bishopton on the northbound carriageway toward Marrayway, involved a HGV and a Honda CR-V just before 8am.

The casualty, who was suffering from back pain, was taken to hospital in Warwick by the West Midlands Ambulance Service.

Police have confirmed that the road has now been re-opened.
