Alcester Grammar pupils qualify for regional event
ALCESTER Grammar School students shone at the annual Inter Area Cross Country Championships at Kineton High School.
With more than 150 students competing from more than ten schools across the county, it was a tough field from the outset.
All AGS students did themselves proud and eight in particular performed extremely well and have now been selected to represent the county in this weekend's Inter Area Championships at Sandwell Valley Country Park.
The eight students are Jamie Robinson, Arthur Trotter, Christopher Hunt, Ruben Herdman, Grace Golinski, Michael O’Rourke, Cameron Palmer and Rhys Mahon.
A school spokesperson said: “This is a great achievement for all of the aforementioned students and the highest number that Alcester Grammar School have seen go through to represent the county in any one year. Congratulations and good luck!”
