Burbage's second-half blitz sees off FC Stratford

FC STRATFORD bowed out of their second cup competition in five days as they suffered a 6-1 thrashing at NKF Burbage in the Challenge Vase on Wednesday night.

Ben Hill's strike ensured FC Stratford went in level at half-time, but five second-half goals saw Burbage finish as comfortable winners.

Nathan Astill (2), Jess Adcock, Alex Coultas, Andrew Farren and Tom Smith were all on target for the Midland League Division Three leaders.

FC Stratford return to league action on Saturday with a trip to Enville Athletic.
