JORDAN Cullinane-Liburd has left Stratford Town and re-signed for local rivals Redditch United.

The defender returns to the Valley Stadium after making just 11 appearances for Carl Adams' side, having signed for the club in June.

Adams had hoped he could persuade Cullinane-Liburd to remain at the DCS, but the right-back has opted for a move back to the Reds following a seven-day approach last week.

"I was hoping Jordan would stay with us," said Town manager Adams.

"But I know the ties he has with them and the lure of a return there was obviously too much for him to resist.

"However, we move on and Jordan leaving opens a door for one or two others to take a claim for a place in the side. In that regard, I'm not overly concerned."
