FC STRATFORD were left shell-shocked as they slumped to a demoralising 7-1 defeat at the hands of Midland League Division Three runaway leaders GNP Sports on Monday night.
Dave Poulson's side had conceded just 17 goals in 19 league matches before the game, but here they were outclassed as unbeaten GNP scored five in a one-sided second half to rubber-stamp their own promotion.
Charlie Cook claimed a hat-trick from the bench, while Josh O'Grady (2), Leigh Phillips and Corey Brookes were also on target.
Alcester Town's game against AFC Solihull was abandoned after 36 minutes after a serious injury to Solihull player Jack Shields. Solihull were leading 2-1.
