STRATFORD'S Andrew Pozzi missed out on a medal in the 110m hurdles at the Commonwealth Games as Jamaica took gold and silver.

Ronald Levy won ahead of countryman Hansle Parchment in 13.19 seconds, with Australia's Nicholas Hough securing bronze.

Pozzi hit the first hurdle and struggled to get into the race after that, finishing sixth in a time of 13.53.

"I'd rather not see replays to be honest," said a disappointed Pozzi.

"I was trying to play catch up but I rushed it. I started to make some headway but through rushing things made mistakes and it just wasn't good.

"It's an event where you can't make a mistake. I made too many and wasn't good enough.

"There were several people who did a better job and they got what they deserved."
