Giles keen to get future sorted quickly after link to Warwickshire job
LANCASHIRE head coach and cricket director Ashley Giles insists his future will be resolved 'soon' after being linked with a move back to Warwickshire.
The former England spinner has been in charge at Lancashire for two seasons, but maintains he has been "well looked after" at Old Trafford despite being linked with a move back to Warwickshire - who he coached between 2007 and 2012.
"It's a very sensitive issue and I really can't sit here and talk about my employment," he told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"By no means have I fallen out with Lancashire, it's a very personal issue. I hope we can come to a resolution soon for all parties."
When the fact his family still lived in the Midlands was mentioned, Giles added: "You've hit the nail on the head there. But at the same time we sign contracts and are paid to do a job."
