Griffin scoops hat-trick of awards at club's presentation evening

THE ladies' section of the Warwickshire Golf and Country Club turned out in force to attend the end-of-season presentation evening last Wednesday.
It had been a busy season and in total 65 ladies received prizes, with 20 winning trophies.
Some players were multiple trophy winners, including Linda Clements, Bev Coleman and Jo Pain who each won two, while Emma Griffin, the club champion for the third year running, won three.
It was also the occasion for the outgoing captain, Sarah Grindal, to hand over the captaincy to Cate Ball.
Ball, who presented Grindal with a leaving gift on behalf of the ladies, said: “We’re looking forward to the 2017 season with a diary packed full of many golfing activities to suit all types ."
