FORMER Stratford Town assistant boss Gary Moran will rejoin Carl Adams’ management team next season.

The 34-year-old left Stratford at the start of last season to become player-manager at Rugby Town.

Moran joined at a time when Rugby were already struggling at the bottom of Northern Premier League Division One South and he was unable to save them from the drop, resigning after the club’s relegation was confirmed in April.

His arrival fills the void left by Ross Thorpe, who has left the club following a brief stint as first-team coach.

Meanwhile, Town have named Jordan Taylor as their new physiotherapist.

Taylor follows Moran from Rugby and replaces former physio Joe Perkins.
