Motorbase reveal new look for title hopeful Jackson
MOTORBASE Performance has unveiled a new livery for the Ford Focus of title hopeful Mat Jackson ahead of this weekend's penultimate meeting of the BTCC season at Silverstone.
Henley-in-Arden's Jackson goes into the weekend sitting fourth in the championship standings, 28 points behind leader Sam Tordoff despite the fact he has won more races than anyone else this season.
The new livery on the #7 Focus comes as a result of a new partnership with global printer manufacturer OKI, with the new design and sponsorship of the team being used as the focal point of the company’s up-coming ‘Print My Ride’ competition.
“It’s fantastic to have OKI come on board with the team at this point in our campaign,” Motorbase Performance team boss David Bartrum said.
“To have that kind of radical change to Mat’s Ford Focus with such a vibrant and unique design for the last two crucial rounds of the 2016 season at Silverstone and Brands Hatch tops things off nicely.
“We’re very proud to be the first team on the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship grid to carry the OKI brand and to demonstrate the new wide-format print wrap in action for the season’s climax and we look forward to a successful partnership off- and on-track.”
Jackson will hope to celebrate his new look by maintaining an impressive record at Silverstone, where he has won for three of the past four seasons.
