FastR has teamed up with Power Maxed Racing to produce a documentary for Amazon Prime.

The multi-episode programme has been produced by the team at FastR, a long-term partner of Bidford-based Power Maxed Racing, and will see cameras follow almost every aspect of life for the team.

Camera crews will also be spending time with drivers Jason Plato, who is on the search for a world record 100 race wins in the BTCC, and Dan Lloyd, who is embarking on his first full season in the championship.

The spotlight will also be shone on development driver Jac Constable's journey through the series.

PMR team principal Adam Weaver said that the exciting project had been something they had been working on since the tail end of last season.

"It's been amazing to see it all come together," he said. "Luke [Clayton] and his team at FastR have been fantastic to work with.

"The experience each of them has is pretty awe inspiring, and I’m hugely confident that this is going to be a ground-breaking piece of television.

"I’m looking forward to educating BTCC fans on just how much work goes in to getting those two cars on the grid too.”

Clayton added: “We’ve been looking for a really interesting television project to sink our teeth into for a while, and when the guys at Power Maxed Racing spoke to us about this, we instantly knew this was the one.

"Our mission is to open motorsport up to everyone, and I can’t think of a better way of doing that than showing the inner workings of a front-running BTCC team.

"We’ve been working with Adam and his team for a while now, and are really excited to be working on such a ground-breaking project with them.”
