Pozzi recovers from slow start to claim British title

STRATFORD AC's Andrew Pozzi overcame a poor start to win the 60 metres hurdles title at the British Indoor Championships in Birmingham.

The reigning European indoor champion was last out of the blocks but stormed back to clock a season's best time of 7.56 seconds.

"The start aside it was a great race,"said Pozzi, who will now contest the World Indoors at the same venue next month.

"It was a season's best and I'm really pleased with how I raced once I got going. A few things to improve but we're on the right track."
