Stephens scoops four prizes at Stratford Town's end-of-season awards

BEN Stephens picked up four awards at Stratford Town's end-of-season presentation.

The ceremony took place at the MoodChimp Stadium on Saturday night, with five main awards up for grabs - supporters' player, manager's player, players' player and Stratford Herald player of the year.

Stephens was named the supporters' player of the year, manager's player of the year, players' player of the year, while he also took the top scorer trophy for his 24 goals in a sublime season.

The versatile Dan Summerfield scooped the Stratford Herald player of the year award for his consistent performances in both defence and midfield.

A number of alternative awards were also handed out, including defender Liam Francis being named as the worst trainer, while the dubious honour of the worst dress sense award went to James Hancocks.
