Stratford meeting abandoned due to waterlogged track

SUNDAY'S race meeting at Stratford has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.
Track officials called a Saturday morning inspection for 7.30am and following heavy rain overnight, they had little option but to call off proceedings.
A statement read: "We have had 25mm earlier in the week and 10mm overnight.
"It is currently snowing and is not forecast to stop until 10am.
"The course is unfortunately unfit to race."
Stratford's next meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 15th May.
