STRATFORD were bowled out for a paltry 58 as they crashed to a 133-run defeat to Lichfield at Swan's Nest Lane on Saturday.

Callum Heanan (66) and Joe Seager (54) were the cornerstones in Lichfield's total of 191 all out, with the prolific James Urquhart taking five for 37 for the Panthers.

Urquhart was well supported by Archie Walker with three for 46, but the best bowling of the day came from Lichfield’s Graham Wilson, who took eight for 17 as Stratford were dismissed for 58 in 16 overs.

Stratford 2nds also suffered a big defeat as they went down by eight wickets at Barnards Green.

Monzur Ahmed (5-39) and Ben Sutton (3-41) did the damage as Stratford were dismissed for 120.

Andrew Wheeler’s unbeaten 73 then saw Barnards Green over the line with plenty to spare.
