Stratford suffer shock defeat to Whitchurch

STRATFORD suffered defeat at home for the first time this season as they were beaten by Whitchurch on Saturday.

The Black and Whites scored tries through Jack Young, Andy Conway and Sam Joyce, but it wasn't enough as the Shropshire side secured a surprise 29-21 success at Pearcecroft.

Tom Rance's side, who have dropped down to fourth in Midlands 1 West, return to action next Saturday at Wolverhampton.
