STRATFORD Town Colts under-16s are celebrating after sealing the Coventry and Warwickshire Youth League title in emphatic fashion on Sunday.

Colts went into the game knowing they had to avoid defeat to Nuneaton side Hartshill in order to win the league.

They won it in style, scoring four second-half goals to win the match 5-1.

A tight first half saw Town hold a slender 1-0 lead thanks to Harry Jones’ volley.

Three quick-fire second-half strikes from Chris Peace (2) and Jones put the Colts 4-0 up.

Hartshill got one back before Mark Hewlett put the seal on the league success with a powerful individual strike.
