Stratford Town's league clash with Alvechurch postponed

STRATFORD Town will have a full week to prepare for their record-making FA Cup tie against Shrewsbury Town after their planned midweek game at Alvechurch was postponed.

The Bards had been due to visit the Church’s Lye Meadow on Tuesday in the Southern League Premier Central but with the recent downpours leaving the pitch sodden and with both teams having a free weekend on 13th November it had been moved to that Saturday.

The 13th November date is FA Trophy first round day but both Stratford and the Church were knocked out last weekend.

Any online tickets already purchased will be valid for that day.
