Stratford's relegation fears deepen after losing draw against Oswestry

STRATFORD slipped into the Birmingham Premier League Division Two relegation zone following a losing draw at Oswestry on Saturday.
Oswestry opening batsman Warrick Fynn (148 not out) and Joe Carrasco (80) put on 177 in the Shropshire side’s total of 280 for five, to which Stratford responded with 215 for six.
John Price (78), David Bailey (57) and Perry Derrick (43 not out) resisted strongly, but Stratford will need to pick up some victories very quickly to avoid an immediate return to division three.
