STUDLEY have parted company with manager Kevin Kingham following Saturday’s defeat by Pershore Town.

Kingham's assistant Keith Draper and coach Brett Farrington have been put in temporary charge as Studley search for a new boss to take the club forward.

Kingham said he offered his resignation following last month’s 9-1 defeat to Littleton, before agreeing to stay on.

But the weekend defeat to Pershore proved the final straw, and Kingham said: “I would like to thank everyone at Studley FC and wish them all the best.

"I offered my resignation after the 9-1 defeat, but we hoped for a change in results after a poor season so far.

"After a board meeting it was decided best for me to leave the club with immediate effect.

"I'd like to thank all who have helped me over the last few years.”

Studley return to action this Saturday with a tough trip to third-placed Atherstone Town.
