Sullivan made an honorary member of Stratford Golf Club

EUROPEAN Ryder Cup star Andy Sullivan has become an honorary member of Stratford-on-Avon Golf Club.

The world number 73, who hails from Warwickshire, has enjoyed close ties with the Tiddington Road club for 15 years, having played in their annual showcase am/am event, where the Midlands’ leading amateur players team up with three members of the club.

Sullivan has three European Tour victories to his name, in addition to Walker, World and Ryder Cup honours.

He was presented with his membership from officers of the club Brian Fish, Bob Scott David Rigg and Hugh Begg.
