STRATFORD Sharks’ swimmers raised more than £750 for charity at the Shakespeare Hospice 10k Big Swim at Stratford Leisure Centre.
The centre is the main base for Stratford Sharks SC, ensuring the club took part in huge numbers.
Six teams of ten each completed the 10k to raise money for the young person’s cancer unit at the hospice.
“The Shakespeare Hospice is our preferred charity,” said Jonathan Penny, club chairman of the Sharks.
“They carry out some amazing work in our community, providing support and care for those in the area who are confronted with a life-limiting illness.”
