Town boss Adams frustrated by 'cruel' draw

It was the second time in four days that Stratford let a winning position slip from their hands, having led at Biggleswade on Saturday before going down 4-3.

Adams was far from angry at his players after the game, but he admitted the manner of the draw was hard to take.

He said: “It was just cruel the way that game got away from us.

“I think a draw probably would have been a fair result, but it was just so cruel the way it came along with us being 1-0 up.

“It’s a bit of a kick in the teeth because I thought we played a very good King’s Lynn side and we’ve matched them.

“It feels like a defeat because we were in a winning position and we haven’t seen it out again.”

Town are back on the road for the fourth time in three weeks this Saturday when they take on struggling Paulton Rovers before returning to the DCS next Tuesday to face Merthyr Town.
