Town boss admits his side are stuck in a rut
STRATFORD Town manager Carl Adams admits his side are stuck in a rut after suffering five straight defeats in the Evo-Stik League South Premier.
Town's poor end-of-season form showed no signs of ending on Saturday as they went down to a 3-1 defeat at Biggleswade on Saturday.
The result leaves Town's hopes of improving on last season's 14th-place finish in tatters and Adams said: “We are in a bit of a rut at the moment. It’s a bad place to be in, but we’ve still got three games to go in which to turn it around.
"At 1-1 l felt that we would come away with a draw at worst, but it wasn’t to be, so we’ll go again at St Ives, which will be our third away games in six days.”
Town are back on the road on Tuesday when they go to St Ives, before returning to the MoodChimp on Saturday for their final home game of the season against Basingstoke.
