Town's clash with Biggleswade postponed

STRATFORD Town’s Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division clash at Biggleswade Town tonight (Tuesday) has been postponed.

An afternoon pitch inspection was held at the Carlsberg Stadium and the pitch was deemed unplayable.

Biggleswade Town confirmed the news on Twitter, saying: "Given the rain and traffic congestion, it's best we rearrange this match. Sorry, we tried, but nature is stronger."

Town return to action on Saturday when they take on Hayes and Yeading United at the DCS Stadium.
