Tulloch's goals and energy a breath of fresh air for Town
STRATFORD Town forward Simeon Tulloch has been hailed as a ‘breath of fresh air’ after two match-winning performances inside four days.
Tulloch scored the first as Town beat Dunstable on Saturday and he followed it up by scoring the winner at Cirencester on Tuesday night.
In the absence of the suspended Richard Gregory, manager Carl Adams has opted to play Tulloch in a more advanced role and the 30-year-old has rewarded him with a couple of eye-catching performances.
“Simeon was immense on Saturday, buzzing here, there and everywhere and got himself a goal too,” said a delighted Adams.
“He’s been a breath of fresh air with his pace up top. He’s also banging in the goals now, so he’s looking like a real threat for us.”
Stratford’s four-match unbeaten run will be severely tested this Saturday when Town visit third-placed Chippenham.
Chippenham have lost just once at home this season, but with Stratford boasting the only unbeaten away record in the Southern League Premier Division, they will be quietly confident of picking up at least a point at Hardenhuish Park.
