STRATFORD moved up to second in Birmingham and District Premier League Division Three following a comfortable six-wicket success against Handsworth.

A terrific spell of six for 33 from James Urquhart saw Handsworth crash to 161 all out after Carby Dawkins (54) and Renrick Cooper (36) had seen them to 85 for one.

An unbeaten 54 from Declan Waddington and 40 from Dexter Purser eased Stratford above Rugby and they are 13 points behind leaders Stourbridge, who they welcome to Swans Nest Lane next Saturday.

Stratford 2nds (230-5) made it a weekend double as they claimed a five-wicket victory over Handsworth 2nds (228).
