ALCESTER Town moved up to second in Midland League Division Three after handing out a 12-0 thumping to Castle Vale Town at Stratford Road on Saturday.

Tom Keogh struck seven times in the win, with the other goals coming courtesy of Luke Dugmore (2), Callum Debar, James Kelly and Daniel Priest.

Shipston Excelsior remain bottom following a 6-3 home defeat to Continental Star, while Central Ajax slipped to their third league defeat of the season as they went down 2-0 at Enville.

In Midland League Division One, Luke Cole claimed a hat-trick as Racing Club Warwick continued their excellent league form with a 3-0 success at Rocester.

Studley thrashed Uttoxeter Town 4-0 to move above them into ninth, while bottom club Littleton remain pointless after a 2-0 defeat against Hinckley AFC.

In Midland League Division Two, FC Stratford were swept aside 5-0 by title-chasing Boldmere Sports at the Arden Garages Stadium. Kyle Hudlin, Matthew Lewis,Oliver Timmins, Michael Williams and Reece Gibson were the men on target.

Earlswood Town bowed out of the Smedley Crooke Memorial Charity Cup following a 2-0 home defeat to Moors Academy.
