Josh O'Grady struck twice for GNP Sports in a 4-0 victory over Shipston Excelsior.

SHIPSTON Excelsior's promotion hopes suffered a setback following Saturday's 4-0 defeat to Midland League Division Three leaders GNP Sports.

Josh O'Grady (2), Tom Rawlings and Scott Hammond were all on target to keep GNP 13 points clear at the top.

The division three games involving FC Stratford, Alcester Town and Central Ajax were all postponed due to the wet weather.

In Midland League Division One, Racing Club Warwick came back from a goal down to beat ten-man Lichfield City 2-1 at The McDonald's Community Stadium.

Lichfield, who had Dan Thurstance sent off early on, went ahead after quarter-of-an-hour through Max Black.

But the extra man eventually told and Warwick took all three points with Trea Bertie and Richard Powell.

In division two, Earlswood Town suffered their tenth league defeat of the season after going down 2-0 at Coton Green.
