ALCESTER Town eased their way into the quarter-finals of the Birmingham Vase with a 3-0 success over Birmingham University Medics on Saturday.
Stuart Hall struck twice, including one from the penalty spot, to make it 2-0 before Matt Chambers sealed victory with Alcester's third.
In Midland League Division One, Racing Club Warwick secured a superb 1-0 victory over title hopefuls Atherstone Town.
Sean Kavanagh got the only goal of the game for the Racers, who move up to seventh in the table.
The other Midland League games involving Littleton, Studley, Earlswood Town, Shipston Excelsior and Central Ajax all fell victim to the weather.
FC Stratford's Challenge Vase tie at GNP Sports was also postponed.
