Weekend football round-up
FC STRATFORD suffered their third straight defeat as they went down 2-0 to Enville Athletic at Hall Drive on Saturday.
Dave Poulson's side failed to make their first-half pressure count and Enville took all three points with two second-half strikes from Adam Wooldridge.
In the Les James Challenge Cup, Shipston Excelsior were edged out 2-1 by higher ranked opposition in Redditch Borough.
Ryan Mumford got one back for Shipston, but Redditch progressed with goals from Garrath Hopkins and Callum Hall.
Alcester Town also went out, following a 3-1 reverse at Midland League Division Two side Knowle.
Isaiah Graham-Clarke was on target for Alcester, but Knowle won it with goals from Thomas Craine (2) and Kyle Jaynes.
Earlswood Town were another side to bow out, going down 2-1 to Midland League Division Three high flyers Montpellier.
In Midland League Division One, Southam United remain rock bottom after a 2-0 away defeat to Littleton. Daniel Carter and Connor Perry-Holmes got the goals.
Studley are just above Southam and they suffered their tenth league defeat of the campaign, going down 2-1 at home to Pershore Town.
