STRATFORD Golf Club hosted their annual Captain’s Day on Saturday, with a full field of 155 members competing.

The first group played at 7am and the final group holed the last putt at 7pm.

David Rigg presented the trophy to Roy Wheeler who scored a very impressive 45 points from his 20 handicap.

Bill Gillespie was runner up with 43 points (19) and John Carter (13) and Ivor Wincote (19) tied for third with 41 points.
